Knights Inn Sierra Vista

The staff were nice and accommodating, but the rooms and property didn't match the pictures or what we expected. The place looked run down and poorly maintained. We had several rooms booked, and the AC and heat didn't work in any of them. The sheets were dirty, with crumbs and hair. If you need a cheap stay and don't mind an unclean room, this may be for you.

On Valentine's Day, I booked through Expedia and paid $38. The woman in the office treated me like a queen, and the room was surprisingly nice and clean. The heating and cooling systems apparently had issues, so they provided portable alternatives. Thanks for making a lonely, sad day a nice experience.

Jeff at the front desk was attentive, friendly, and helpful. It was my first visit to Sierra Vista, AZ, and I really appreciated the great customer service. We look forward to visiting again soon.

This has usually been our hotel when we visit, and we hadn't had problems before this stay. We've been here four days with another three or four to go, and cleaning staff have repeatedly ignored our request to leave the room alone. First, our adjoining room with my in-laws had no AC, and the hotel put a fan in there, though we hadn't asked for adjoining rooms. We overlooked the damage in the older rooms. On the first full day, we put up the Do Not Disturb sign, but housekeeping entered anyway. I thought maybe I'd hung it wrong. The next day I checked it three times, and they came in again, took all our towels, and left only one. We told the front desk, who said they'd ask housekeeping to stay out and gave us replacement towels. On the third full day, I put the sign up again and took a time-stamped photo in case anyone said I'd put it the wrong way. They didn't come through the door, but they still got into our room through the adjoining door from my in-laws' room, even after being told to stay out. I was furious. I figured we'd lock the connecting doors next time, but then I saw something scurry across the bathroom floor. Roaches were coming through a hole in the wall under the sink. I'll be checking everything thoroughly before putting it back in my car or bringing it into my home.
