Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Fort Pierce West by IHG

The pool area felt secluded while I was lying there, which I loved. There aren’t any windows looking down over the pool, so I didn’t feel like people in their hotel rooms were watching me. Great customer service, a very clean and friendly place, and phenomenal breakfast. I highly recommend this location.

The staff made a hard visit much easier. I was in town for the funeral of a dear friend’s mother, Elder Nelson, and Cindy, the general manager, and her team treated me with real kindness. They even let me come back after the service to change before getting on the road again. The hotel was clean and nice, and the whole stay felt like a 5 star experience. I’ll return when I’m in town for happier reasons. They treated me with care and respect, and I’d call this a top tier place to stay in Fort Pierce.

We’ve been coming to this Holiday Inn regularly for about 5 years. The rooms are fresh and clean, and breakfast and coffee are always fresh too. The staff have consistently been great to deal with, and sales and management do what they can to handle our requests. I’d recommend staying here if you’re traveling.

The staff were friendly, but this wasn’t a great room. There were short hairs on the bathroom floor and sheets, one duvet smelled like body odor, and the shower never got hot enough. The walls are thin enough to shake when a neighbor shuts a door. It’s next to I-75, across from Pilot station and Lion's Den Adult Book Store, and most of the guests seemed to be truckers. Women traveling alone might not feel comfortable here. Not the worst place I’ve stayed, but not the best either.
