Sunrise Sands

We're locals and like coming here for a quick getaway. The bar and restaurant are good too, and the head chef was so cool and hooked us up each evening. We'll definitely come back to dine regularly, not just for romantic trips. The seafood mac and cheese is to die for. Rooms are clean, the views are amazing, and the price is the best.

Bingo was a lot of fun, and they're dog friendly. The location and price are hard to beat, and the staff were amazing. The woman at the desk on Thanksgiving was super nice and helpful, and she was happy to show us the room before we took it. Housekeeping was just as sweet when helping with our many towel requests. My one concern was the balcony. It didn't feel sturdy at all.

I haven't stayed here, but I've visited the restaurant and bar several times. The servers are amazing and still give great service in this record-breaking heat. The drinks are decent, the fries are tasty, and the ranch is so good you might want to drink it, lol. I tried bingo on my last visit. One of the women running it was really patient and explained how to play, so if you want to give it a go but don't know the rules, this is the place.

There's a lot nearby, including attractions, entertainment, food, and places to see sea life. The resort has a bar on site and private beach access. We watched a beautiful sunrise from our balcony, with the water view and waves all day and night. Room 23 was comfortable and had everything we needed. The bed was especially comfortable, even for someone picky about beds. The staff were accommodating and met our little family's needs, and the location right on the water is hard to beat. There are lots of room options, all nicely decorated. The room had cable TV, a microwave, coffee pot, sink, fridge, hot showers, towels, and a room safe. My only negative would be that the parking lot needs more lighting. Otherwise, this is a cute resort and a hidden gem. I'd recommend visiting and enjoying the area.
