Quality Inn Fort Pierce I-95

The bed was clean and comfortable, but the bathroom floor had dirt and hair on it, and the room was only semi-clean. The pool was closed, and the breakfast area was filthy. People were sitting on the walkway and looked like they were living there. At the front desk, nobody was around at first. After I walked around the front of the hotel, the clerk finally showed up wearing a sleeveless hoodie and smoking a cigarette. He asked, “Do you want something?”

The rooms smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke and mildew, and the air conditioning units had mildew on them too. I really regret staying. This place felt sketchy, and I’d avoid bringing kids if possible. Spending the extra $50 to stay somewhere else would be worth it.

I had to buy disinfectant spray and Lysol wipes at a store because I felt uneasy about the room. The first one had mold across the ceiling and shower, a bleach smell, leaves and trash that seemed to have blown in, and a toilet that kept running and wouldn’t flush because its handle was broken. The second room was a bit better, at least there was no mold. There’s no WiFi, either. What kind of place doesn’t offer guests internet? They charge around $100, but I wouldn’t stay here again even if they paid me $100. I was there about a week.

Breakfast was just cereal or waffles, so don’t expect much more. This feels like a last-resort place, and you get what you pay for. People who seemed sketchy hung around day and night. At 2:17 am on our first night, a man in the laundry room blasted music and woke us up. The next night, a couple of guys smoked weed outside our door, and the smell got into our room. The place needs a lot of improvement.
