The second room was just as bad as the first. They moved us to a handicap assisted room, where there were tons of cockroaches and a strong cigarette smell, so we asked for our money back. Staff got upset when we requested a refund. In the first room, there was blood on the mattress, cockroaches, and a telephone on a shelf marked Motel Six with no cord to the wall or place to plug it in. I strongly suggest never staying here.

The staff were nice and the rooms were reasonable, but they didn’t look like the pictures. One blanket had cigarette burns, and we saw several roaches in the bathroom each night over our two-night stay. Not the worst, but not the best.

The manager didn’t seem surprised or concerned when I reported the roaches. The grounds also need cleaning, with trash and broken tables from the rooms left on the ground. In our room, the sheets were stained and had burn holes, the bed was worn out, and the stiff shower curtain was beyond dirty. Half the lights didn’t work, and there were roaches.

After a long day on the road, we expected a comfortable room and bed, but found roaches, blood on the ceiling, and filthy walls. The doors were rotting, the curtain and lock were broken, and a huge cockroach was on the fridge hinges. The shower was disgusting and had hair in it, the sink and light switches were nasty, the mirrors were unclean, and the bed had yellow stains with ceiling paint on the covers. The area behind the toilet was terrible. Cords behind the TV were tangled and sloppy, a lightbulb was exposed without a cover, an electrical plate was exposed, and the door stopper was filthy. There was a hidden tablet that could have been recording and should have been picked up after the last people left. The table had been painted over when they painted the wall. There was a phone cord with no phone, no channel guide, and a squished cockroach still on the wall. The guy at the front was rude and watched us as we went to our room. It was really creepy.
