The room was clean and the beds comfortable, with a large TV and Dove care products as nice extras. There's a simple free breakfast, ample parking, and the location just off 1-10 is convenient. The hotel looks new, has bright colors, and the front desk staff were friendly. It was quiet, too.

Breakfast was a real plus, served from 6 to 9:30 with scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, cereal, oatmeal, pastries, bread, bagels, hot chocolate, coffee, orange juice, and both mineral and regular water. The hotel is just off I-10 E, and we found the beds really comfortable and the rooms a great size. My family and I slept very well. The whole stay exceeded my expectations.

We pulled in at 11:30 pm after camping at Big Bend and booked a room quickly. It's right off the highway, next to a Love's fuel station, which made fueling easy. The hotel is clearly new, and our room was clean, with even the pillows labeled. The shower felt especially good after camping. It costs more than nearby motels, but the room quality made up for it. There was a simple continental breakfast in the morning, and good burrito shops are a short drive away in town. A great stop on the way to or from Big Bend National Park.

We stopped for one night on the drive from Phoenix to Austin, and this was just what we needed. Check-in was easy, and the stay felt smooth and stress-free, a good chance to recharge before hitting the road again. The brand-new Avid Hotel Fort Stockton was clean and well maintained, with a fresh, modern feel. It's right off the highway, convenient for a road trip, yet quiet enough for a good night's sleep. A great choice when passing through.
