Sea Oats 112 3 Bedroom Condo

Do not rent unit #309 at Sea oats or through Southern Vacation Rentals. We paid for a luxury condo, but the listing was misleading and the unit was in unacceptable condition. The tile floor had a poorly glued rug that felt unstable, and tiles in the middle were raised like a roof peak. It was a tripping hazard, so we moved the coffee table over it to keep our family from falling. The bathroom sinks and tubs backed up and wouldn’t drain properly. The blender leaked from the bottom, there weren’t enough proper utensils for basic cooking, and the building’s elevators felt unreliable and unsafe. There were no ceiling fans, just cheap floor fans, and the A/C barely worked. We reported everything to management, but they kept sending maintenance to the condo even after we asked not to be disturbed during our vacation. We tried to work with Southern Vacation Rentals, but communication was delayed and the process of resolving the problems felt misleading and extremely frustrating. With all the issues we experienced, they offered only a one-night refund of $170, which didn’t reflect what we dealt with. I would have booked somewhere else. This unit is poorly maintained, misleadingly advertised, and not worth the cost. I wouldn’t stay there again or recommend booking through this company. Proceed with caution.
