Hilton Garden Inn Philadelphia Ft. Washington

Allan from engineering came to help when he heard I was having trouble managing my wheelchair and getting the luggage cart out of the room. He even took it down to the lobby for me. I use a wheelchair, and everyone made our visit comfortable. Julia at reception was sweet, welcoming, and helpful, and arranged for us to check in a few hours early after our plane arrived ahead of schedule. Jose, the morning chef, was just as kind and attentive. He helped me reach things that were out of range and brought me whatever I needed. I’m grateful to the caring staff for making the stay so memorable.

I’ve usually had pretty good stays at this Hilton, but the latest one wasn’t so good. The room itself was okay, though the AC/heater was really loud until maintenance replaced two dirty filters. There were big crumbs by the bed, and food splatter made the inside top of the microwave extremely dirty. The bathroom needed some TLC: the floor around the toilet seemed cheaply installed, and the tub stopper was broken. A few guests were very loud in the hallway around 1 a.m. for about an hour. I know Hilton can’t control guest behavior, but the entry door slams shut if you don’t guide it closed, and that woke me several times.

After three long days traveling through different hotels and cities, arriving here felt welcoming and fun. The staff working on 1/13/2026 were outstanding, caring, and very helpful. I also noticed how well they treated one another. They seem like a team that cares about its coworkers. If I’m back in the area, I’m staying here. OUTSTANDING service!

The service and hospitality were great, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and had plenty of outlets for charging devices. But if you’re a light sleeper or need quiet, ask for a room without a connecting door. With a neighbor in the adjoining room, you can hear conversations and everything else. I paid expecting to rest, not listen to a conference call or concert, and your peace depends on having a considerate neighbor. I’d suggest the hotel remind guests to keep their volume down before they settle in, since the doors connect the rooms. You can request a different room without one.
