Courtyard Fort Wayne

We booked a spur-of-the-moment stay and enjoyed it a lot. The hotel is clean and updated, the rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, and the staff were friendly and did their best to make us feel at home. We had a king suite with a hot tub, but the AC wasn't working. The front desk staff were very nice and brought us a key card for an identical room. The pool had closed early for maintenance, which was the only downside. The hotel is in a good part of town, and the courtyard is beautiful. The TV is a flat screen, the Wi-Fi is fast, and there are no-smoking signs all over. Breakfast costs $8.99 per person, which they tell you at check-in. Worth the money, and we'd come back.

They charged my card $300 without permission, claiming I had smoked in the room, though I hadn't. After calling them 100 times, I still couldn't get a good answer. They also said breakfast was offered, but when we went in the morning, they asked us to pay $12 per person. The rooms were really bad, and the price made no sense. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Don't go there, there are hundreds of better and cheaper hotels in fort Wayne.

I'm the owner of Ben's Economy Taxi, a low-cost taxi service in Fort Wayne and the city's second-largest taxi company. Two hotel employees wrote false negative reviews about my company after we were four minutes late for a pickup six blocks away. Anna Pnitani and KellyUnderwood, both front desk clerks, lie to customers about taxi arrival times and then call us back to cancel as if we'd done something wrong. The Marriott keeps calling Elite Taxi, a company with two cabs, and gives us the crappy runs. We won't provide taxi service to this hotel anymore. I hope you choose somewhere else to stay in the future.
