The location is central and it was a better deal than the INN. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, and the front desk staff were kind and helpful. We had a man on crack blowing leaves outside our room until about 2am, though, which wasn’t great. It’s an upscale motel in Downtown Riverside, so keep your expectations in line and book knowing what you’re getting. Not the best, not the worst.

Hiral was wonderful and hospitable at checkout, and also during breakfast one morning. Check-in, though, met my low expectations, which were already low because of the reviews. The hotel turned out okay: relatively clean, quiet, and gave me a place to sleep. It checked my boxes, so four stars, with five for Hiral.

This is my second stay here. Good service, a clean place, and a free breakfast that’s great value.

The owners, a husband and wife, were so welcoming and accommodating. We were four people using two rooms for one night on August 12, 2025, and found the rooms very clean and everything in good order. The office was pleasant, with snacks and water for sale, and breakfast had several good options. It’s a simple but inviting motel. We have a good friend in Riverside, so Raincross Hotel is now our go-to place when we visit. We had a great stay, thank you!

The room furniture was old and pretty beat up, and there was no microwave. The bathroom, though, had been remodeled nicely. It has a shower only, no tub.
