Jessica at the front desk was so polite to me and my family, and helped me choose the room that suited our needs best. The rooms are really comfortable. Thank you, A.B.V. Inn & suites!

The deadbolt on our room was faulty, so I couldn’t safely stay there. We checked in, left for a concert, and came back to find the door wouldn’t lock properly. I took a video and called the front desk. The woman who answered said there was nobody available to repair it and no other room to move us to. I handed the worker the plastic key and said I wasn’t staying in a room with no working lock. On the 26th, I called manager Condy Black, who said she’d been told about the problem and had gotten out of bed to come look at it. She claimed we hadn’t closed the door, though we had, and said there were homeless people in the room. She also accused me of yelling at her employee and swearing at her, which isn’t true. She refused to refund my payment despite the faulty deadbolt. Priceline even called for me, but the manager still wouldn’t approve a refund. Very sad. I just wanted to rest after a great concert. If I’d known the hotel was so unsafe, I wouldn’t have checked in.

I took my money elsewhere and never got to stay here. When I asked about a room, the manager asked how many guests, and I said two. She then asked if we had children. I said no, but she asked me the same thing again. I told her it was just me and my husband and asked why she kept asking. She said people sometimes claim they don’t have children and then show up with a room full of people. I told her that having had bad experiences with other guests didn’t give her the right to accuse me. She just looked at me in disbelief. Be mindful if you go here, because I felt she was profiling me.

The pool looked just as sparkling as in the picture, and my granddaughter, who travels with me, didn’t want to get out. The parking lot was very well lit at night. Check-in came with plenty of smiles, the room was very clean, and the king bed was wonderful. Breakfast was basic, with waffles, eggs, and cereal, but we had a great experience.
