Red Roof Inn Fort Worth – Saginaw

I was very disappointed. Red Roof Inn used to have a great name, but this stay changed how I feel about it. The heater didn’t work right, and the bigger problem was the room security. When I came back, my key wouldn’t open the door. The clerk seemed confused and said a woman had been in my room, so the housekeeper had put my bags in the laundry room. I’d initially rated the place 5 for my two-night stay, but I’d change that to -5 if I could.

We booked a king room with a jetted tub through hotels.com, but when we arrived to check in, we learned there wasn’t a single jetted tub anywhere on the property. We left, and the hotel is still refusing to refund us for a stay that never happened because they don’t have that room type. This place feels shady. Don’t book here.

It’s tucked behind other parking lots, so watch for the driveway when you’re trying to get in. The property feels rough, though it looks like renovations may be happening, and the lobby has been redone. There were still broken things in the room, including the smoke detector, shower, and chair.

The AC didn’t work, and the front desk offered no help beyond saying that some rooms have better AC than others. They didn’t even offer to move us. There was also a grasshopper flying around the room. Disgusting. Worst hotel, wouldn’t recommend it.
