The room was good, and the staff were courteous and respectful. They helped me figure out when to head to the airport and how to use the free shuttle. It’s close enough for a convenient ride there, and near a few nice little places to get food. American Airlines put me here after my flight was delayed by 24 hours. I appreciated the free breakfast, but a yogurt and orange juice in a bag didn’t feel like a real meal. Eggs, cereal, pancakes, or fruit would’ve been much better. I’d probably choose another hotel if I had the option, though I wouldn’t mind staying here again if breakfast improved.

American gave me a voucher here after my flight was delayed until the next day. The room was clean, and the bed was really comfortable. It’s close to the airport, and the 24-hour shuttle was easy to use. The front desk staff were helpful, too.

The rooms were fairly modern and clean, which matter most to me, but the hospitality needs work. I booked online for $46/night, then was charged $52/night at the property. The employee argued with me about the rate, and I regret not taking a screenshot of what the app showed. I’ll bring it up with the hotel brand. There was snow and freezing weather, but neither the sidewalks nor parking lot had been plowed or salted. When I asked if they’d salt it, the employee said he would do it soon. I had to get to work and pointed out the steep hill in back, saying the property could be liable if someone had an accident. He replied that they’d put up a slippery-surface sign and said I couldn’t talk to him that way. That doesn’t change my life, since it’s not my property, but they need a serious wake-up call.

The room itself was fine for the price, though it had a strange smell. I booked for a few hours to shower and sleep during a long layover, mainly because of the airport shuttle. After my flight landed, the front desk said it had stopped running and told me to take a cab. A driver quoted over $40; luckily, I got an Uber, but it still cost almost $30 for five miles. At check-in, I saw I’d been charged twice, once through booking and once by the hotel. I was exhausted, but spent 10-15 minutes going back and forth before the employee believed me and said they’d refund the extra charge. They still required a deposit. I asked for a 5:30 morning shuttle and was told it only runs on the hour, so I chose 6. I got to the lobby at 5:45 and waited until 6:05 before asking if it was coming, since my flight was getting close. The driver showed up a few minutes later with no apparent urgency. For airport convenience, I’d look elsewhere.
