We'd been looking forward to this for weeks, but it was disappointing. Breakfast was fresh, though nearly the same both days, and it wasn't brought to our room as the website said. No one showed us around or explained where we could go, so we stayed in our room the whole time, without knowing about the pretty courtyard or outdoor seating. There weren't any fresh cookies, snacks, or refreshments, just a couple bottles of water. The innkeeper saw me leave for dinner, assumed we'd both gone, and came into the room without knocking while my spouse wasn't dressed. The whirlpool tub was the reason we booked, but its water turned ice cold before it was high enough to switch on the jets. Our room was stifling, so we opened every window to get comfortable. The downstairs was beautifully decorated, but the house overall felt run down and dusty, and we could hear every step from across the house. We were moved from a suite to a room because of "hot water issues," but overheard a couple who were clearly staying in the suite we'd booked. I don't understand all the perfect reviews. The B&B is in a really bad part of town.

We celebrated our engagement in the Lily of the Valley room, and it was amazing. Martha gave us a quick tour of the grounds and showed us how things in the room worked. Everything went smoothly, and the fans were already running when we arrived, so the room stayed nice and cool. We slept in because the beds were seriously the best, and missed breakfast, which we regretted. That's another reason to come back soon.

Martha and Richard invited us back to have our wedding there before we left, which feels perfect since I don't want a big wedding. I can't wait to recommend this B&B to friends and family. This was the best birthday ever, and I'm grateful they were part of such a special occasion. My boyfriend surprised me with a stay from Friday night to Sunday morning for my birthday, my first time at a B&B. The house was quaint and cozy, and Martha and Richard made us feel very welcome. Martha gave us a little map and marked the places we'd be visiting. She made a delicious breakfast Saturday morning, and we got to spend time with her, Richard, and some of the other guests. The decor was lovely.

Martha, the owner, made sure to welcome us and did so much to help us enjoy our stay. We'd booked a room to get away from home for my husband's birthday, and there were champagne and homemade cookies waiting when we arrived. She's a super host. The jacuzzi was huge and complimentary toiletries were provided. There's a nice station for drinks and an emergency kit. The big house has a beautiful garden with a gazebo and plenty of spots to sit and relax. Breakfast was amazing, with homemade food. We really enjoyed the stay and appreciated how well the owners looked after us. I'd highly recommend this B&B.

Martha was so sweet when we checked in, and made sure we had everything we needed. We were the only guests that night, so she brought breakfast to our room. We felt very welcome and will definitely come back for another night away. My partner and I recently stayed in the Honeymoon cottage. It was a timeless treasure, decorated beautifully with everything thoughtfully placed.
