Best Western Plus Fort Worth North

Whataburger is an easy walk away, which was a big plus. The area was quiet and the staff were nice. There was a sock tucked in the back corner by the AC, but these things happen. The AC wasn’t working when we arrived, and they sent someone right away to fix it. All in all, a great place to stay.

The rooms are really spacious and have pretty much everything you might need. We had a very good stay before our flight home, and breakfast was decent. Our first room had a shower blasting hot water, but the front desk moved us to another room very quickly. The pool was nice for a few short laps or cooling off after a hot day.

The breakfast was hot and good, and the lady serving it was amazing. Still, I won’t come back. The pool had bugs and leaves floating in it, and there were no towels. In room 248, I filled the bathtub to soak, then heard all the water drain away. Maintenance came two days later. The worker didn’t speak English, but understood once he figured out what was wrong, he couldn’t fix it. Before that, I’d asked the front desk for toilet paper and waited two hours with no response. I finally went to get two rolls myself, luckily I had baby wipes. I’d also found two empty rolls behind the door after checking in.

The desk clerk was nice when I checked in for my two-night stay. At checkout, though, the hotel charged my card. They said there’d been a computer problem and it would be resolved. Eight days later I had to call again, and they finally issued the refund. They said it might take up to another week to reach my bank. Keep calling if this happens to you, or you could be waiting longer.
