Staybridge Suites Forth Worth West by IHG

The room was fantastic, and the staff were kind. I even saw someone in the lobby recommending local places to eat to a few guests. It’s a clean, very nice hotel just off the highway. I wish I’d had more time there, though I didn’t get to try breakfast or the other amenities.

Breakfast was okay, but I found several roaches around the hotel, including a dead one in my bed on the first night. That left me worried about sanitation. After a few more nights my legs were very itchy. Maybe it was bed bugs, or maybe I reacted to the laundry soap, I can’t say for sure. This place wasn’t for me, so I moved on.

This place feels like you’re getting more than you paid for. The towels are soft, the gym is great, and the staff are good. At breakfast, there’s a woman in the common area cleaning every few minutes. Kudos to her, she’s doing a great job.

We’re very disappointed by how this establishment handled the charges and communication over the past few weeks. My company books between 20/30 nights a month, and we were told Staybridge would be a dependable business partner. Our first experience was a complete disaster. We paid in full a week ahead for an employee’s room, with his card kept on file only for incidentals. Even so, his card was charged several times for more than the prepaid amount: once halfway through his stay and twice more before it ended. I notified the front desk and Hotel manager Tammy right away. I was told it had been fixed, but the charges kept coming, and they pushed responsibility onto the reservations team. Nobody took ownership. This was unacceptable and unprofessional, and we won’t do business here again. I hope management resolves these problems so other clients don’t go through the same thing.
