I almost left and slept in my car. The place was old, dingy, small, stained, and dirty, despite the positive ratings that led me to book. There was a web above the outside door with three dead bugs in it, and a dead beetle lying upside down in the shower. The smoke detector had no battery. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and those good ratings must be fake.

The constant noise and awful room smells were bad enough, and there were roaches too. The door had key problems, and the TV satellite cut out when the weather changed. When remotes stopped working, employees had an attitude. Some staff didn’t really understand English, and the staff were generally disrespectful. The manager uses profanity and curse words with customers. They did unwanted room checks while guests were sleeping and made people leave their rooms for cleaning, even on weekends when guests were asleep. Do not stay at this motel disguised as a hotel. Try other places along I-35W. I wouldn’t let my worst enemy spend the night there.

I was in the room for about two minutes after getting the key and going upstairs. It was hot and stinky, with the air off, a gross curtain, a bug on the sheet, and a rusty microwave. Then I saw live roaches crawling on the wall. I left right away and called to tell them as I drove off.

They wouldn’t let me book another room, claiming I’d “broke the microwave.” But the cup of noodles was already in there from the previous person who stayed.
