The grounds at Vineyard Hacienda were gorgeous, and having the whole property to ourselves gave us and our guests real privacy. The scenery and decorations drew plenty of compliments. Our package also came with all 7 hotel rooms, plus full use of the pool house and pool area for our after party. The wedding was running behind, but Joseph never rushed us. He kept saying it was our day and made sure we were happy and having a good time. We had the perfect wedding, and we'd choose Vineyard Hacidena again and again. Joseph and his staff, Laura, Joy, Patti, and Lily, made the day work so well. Joseph was our day of coordinator, and he was fantastic. He was easy to reach by email, text, or phone, stayed on top of everything, and got things done whenever we needed help. The night before, I may have overdone it at the rehearsal dinner. Joseph brought me Gatorade and Alka seltzer, checked on me, and helped me recover while my bride was getting ready. His staff were just as helpful and sweet, making sure we had what we needed at both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. Joseph is also a really cool guy, someone you could grab a beer with and talk about anything. He wasn't pushy when we first met. Vineyard Hacienda was the first venue on our list, and after meeting Joseph we didn't bother visiting the others. We signed a contract with him that same day.

We couldn't get the Wifi working, and I regret not asking about it since it was probably an easy fix. There was so much else to do that it slipped my mind, but I wanted to mention it. Everything else made us want to stay longer. The setting was peaceful and full of nature, the room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed, with a great coffee maker and comfortable bed. Rhonda and Lacey were especially attentive and sweet, always ready to help with questions or concerns. We loved the pool and hot tub, and the location was convenient for nearby restaurants and shops, with easy access to downtown. We really enjoyed our stay and will return to this San Diego hidden gem.

I wouldn't recommend setting up at this venue as a vendor. I was hired by a guest renting the space, but the way I was treated was absurd. The owner wasn't available on site on the event day and kept rushing me to leave, even though the client was fine with me staying to finish setup. The disorganization was hard to believe for a business that's been operating so long. About 30 minutes before the event, guests were asking me where the bathroom was because no staff were around. The staff and owner didn't live up to how they presented themselves during the tour, and they need to hire a day of coordinator. After 15 years of decorating, this was a wild, crazy experience. I'll never recommend this place to clients looking for a venue.

It was beautiful having my wedding at vineyard hacienda. I was so excited to find an outdoor venue this close to San Diego. The staff are friendly and really nice, and the venue itself is gorgeous. Since they host weddings so often, they have put together an amazing vendor list that made planning much easier. Thank you, Joe, and everyone at vineyard hacienda!

The owner was so cruel when I had my quinceanera here. He told my DJ to turn down the party music and disrespected my baker and photographer. He even had my parents working throughout the whole party instead of spending time with me. Then he threatened to shut the entire party down if the DJ didn't lower the music by 10pm. Absolutely unacceptable. Don't come here, this owner is so mean.
