Radisson Hotel Fort Worth North-Fossil Creek

We had a really lovely anniversary. Our key card wouldn’t open the first room, so they moved us to a larger one, and it was very clean. Later we went downstairs to dance the night away at Cassidys, the hotel nightclub. The vibe there was great. We’ll be back!

The shower pressure was good, but the beds weren’t comfortable and the pillows were poor. Basic cleanliness was missing too. The advertised queen beds felt more like oversized singles, nowhere near doubles. We’d read reports of bedbugs and roaches, so we checked around and didn’t see any, though behind the beds was filthy and gave us some idea why people might suspect pests. Every linen we looked at was stained or torn. It seems like the owners are taking the money without putting it back into the property, which is falling into disrepair.

We planned to spend over $350 for the weekend and use the amenities, but ended up finding somewhere else to stay. We’d booked through the Choice Hotels friends and family discount. At arrival, the front desk agent seemed bothered that we’d asked to check in. Then we were told we couldn’t use the card we’d booked with, and they wouldn’t take cash or any of our other cards unless they were major credit cards. We’ve never run into that before. The agent said the General manager had set the policy, but that person wasn’t available to discuss it with us.

Antonio from night audit is always friendly and gets me checked in quickly. Randy from maintenance was helpful too, he really went above and beyond for me. Thanks for making my stay a good one!
