Studio 6 Fort Worth, TX – Downtown East

The staff, including the manager, were nice and helpful whenever I spoke with them, and none of the issues I had were their fault. Studio 6 Fort Worth Downtown East is a clean, comfortable basic motel with free Wi-Fi and parking. It meets or even beats the Motel 6 standard. Some equipment was a little old and rusty compared with expensive downtown hotels, but I wouldn’t complain about that. An Uber to or from DFW airport costs $40-$50. I stayed 19 nights without a car and had no problems, though several locals warned me the neighborhood was unsafe, so I may just have been lucky. The nearest bus stop was a five minute walk, then a 20 minute ride downtown. I also took several buses to a laundromat, which was tedious and felt unsafe. Having a car would make both the neighborhood and laundry less of a concern. The table is cramped if two people want to eat or work there together, and there’s no nearby laundromat. There was no shampoo, so I bought a small bottle at CVS. Why do the G6 Hospitality executives, who own Motel 6 and Studio 6, assume all guests are bald? I have long hair. Oddly, the room did have an iron, closet, hair dryer, and microwave. It also came with a few barely used, very clean kitchen appliances: a coffee maker, though the coffee wasn’t good, a toaster, and cooking stoves. There was no electric kettle, utensils, plates, or skillets. I’d like to ask G6 Hospitality why.
