Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Fort Worth, TX

The staff were friendly throughout, and the man who checked us in was especially welcoming and helpful. We also appreciated the weekend shuttle to the Fort Worth Stockyards, which was a convenient touch. Breakfast was a good selection of typical American food. Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Fort Worth, TX was a pleasant place to stay. Its Fort Worth location made it easy to get around, including to Fort Worth Downtown and Dallas. I'd gladly return and recommend it.

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson refused to refund my daughter after the show she booked the room for was cancelled due to a severe ice storm. The show was on January 23; we learned on the 22nd that it was off, and she called to cancel and ask for her money back. She had insurance on the reservation, but they still refused. Who could have known in advance how severe the storm would be? Were we supposed to risk our lives and my service animal's just to use the room? That's absurd. I'm sure the hotel was full of stranded travelers. They actually blamed us because we knew a storm was coming when we booked, a week before the show. My daughter and her husband are newlyweds with full-time jobs, hardworking Americans who pay taxes. I'm a retired law enforcement officer, a two-time honorably discharged veteran on a fixed income. They chose greed over treating us decently, and made us feel like second-class citizens. As an American, I find that unacceptable. If you're reading this, choose somewhere else. We'll never stay at a Country Inn and Suites by Radisson or any Radisson property again.

Your response is a lie. I walked straight through the front with my dog. Staff already knew about him before I came in, or I wouldn't have made it to the room in the first place. It's also false that I didn't tell you how many people were with me. I wrote four on the paper I signed. Publish it if you're so comfortable lying. I'm five months pregnant, so nobody was smoking in the room. You assumed we were smoking because the boys are Black. We had no weed after driving across all those states, the room didn't smell like weed, and I told staff everything before getting the key. You're lying. The general manager was completely unprofessional, yelling in the hallway and trying to defend herself against being racist by saying, “she has a black boyfriend.” If you cared what other guests thought, she shouldn't be on your staff after handling things this way. What kind of manager screams at guests and accuses them after banging on the room door at 9 AM? I never said he was a service animal. We know this is you replying, Rose, so there's no need to write in third person. You're a weird, sad lady. I understand being miserable working at a hotel and thinking you're somebody because you have a “general manager” title, probably still making minimum wage. I have you recorded, and the room was recorded too, so keep lying and I'll keep replying. We'll see you in court over the false accusation and the charge on my card, along with all our drug tests from the doctor, since you think it's okay to charge people based on your accusations.

I had a spacious, clean room for a one-night solo stop. I was only there to sleep and head out, but the location was great, and I found a cute place to eat nearby. In the morning, a nice little breakfast was a great start to the day.
