Four Points by Sheraton Fort Worth North

The first of our few stays was fine, but on the second visit the front desk girl was snarky. Hotels.com said there was a pool, and my son was really excited to use it this time. We hadn't looked for it or tried it on our first visit, but this time we searched everywhere and couldn't find one. When I asked, she said they didn't have a pool. I pointed out what Hotels.com listed, and she told me I should check the hotel's own website for its actual amenities. I explained that hotels have to tell Hotels.com what amenities they offer when they sign up, so either they reported a pool or never corrected the mistake. She just repeated that I should check their website. Lesson learned, we won't be back.

I was here for a seven-night business trading session, and there were so many issues. There was no pool or hot tub, and they charged for what was the worst-looking breakfast I saw. The food wasn't good, and the drinks were overpriced. The bartender also cooked the food, so both took a long time. He was cool, but not a real bartender. The AC was terrible. It took all night to get even a little cool, then somehow shut off while I was gone, so it was sooo hot whenever I came back. Bugs, maybe drain flies, came out of the wall behind the sink. I took a video and showed the front desk, and housekeeping checked the next day. The blankets legit looked like they had mold, with nasty spots all over that I saw while fixing them in the light. I was visiting Fort Worth from the UK on business and stayed a few nights. For a reasonable price, this is a modern-looking hotel with a spacious, clean room and a very comfortable bed and pillows. The fixed shower head had low pressure, but it was usable. There's a well-stocked bar, a good variety at breakfast for only $7.99, and plenty of places to eat nearby.

I'm a Marriott Bonvoy member and stayed five nights. It was one of the worst hotel stays I've had, and I won't stay here again or recommend it. My room AC didn't work at check-in, though they switched me to another room right away. The blankets are so thin they might as well be sheets. On day 3, I had to ask housekeeping to clean my room, which I've never had to do before. They said they weren't cleaning stayover rooms that day, so I had to speak to someone else to get it done. When I came back, my snacks on the desk were covered in ants, and I have pictures. There was also mold in the bottom corners of my shower.
