Hampton Inn & Suites Fort Worth-Fossil Creek

Having a baby, a dog, and a cat in a hotel for a few weeks after a big move wasn’t much fun, but the staff made it easier and more pleasant. We were staying here for two weeks while our house was being finished after moving across the country. Everyone was kind and helpful. The front desk, cleaning crew, maintenance crew, and food service workers all went out of their way to help us feel comfortable.

We keep choosing this hotel whenever we visit Fort Worth. It feels like our home away from home, and the staff welcome us like family each time. They’re friendly and always do extra to make the stay comfortable. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and have what we need for a relaxing visit. We notice the little details, and the breakfast, amenities, and general atmosphere keep meeting our expectations and then some. We can’t recommend it enough.

The first room at Hampton Inn – Fossil Creek had a loud, high-pitched squeal from the AC, so there was no way we could sleep in it. The hotel was sold out, and Brandon, the manager, explained that many units were noisy ahead of a major remodel. He found a way to help: one room had been updated as a test for the planned renovations, and he offered to move us there. It wasn’t clean when we switched, so while we went to dinner, Brandon and another manager cleaned it themselves. That saved the night. We had a great stay thanks to Brandon and his staff’s quick thinking, and we’ll come back once the renovations are done.

The room had a strange odor and shabby carpet, and some things were poorly maintained. The shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed, and both it and the safety handle were loose. One woman couldn’t get into her room because the lock was broken, so she had to wait for a man to pry it open. At the front desk, a woman said her phone charger wasn’t working, and the clerk argued that there was no charger. I told her there were.
