Hotel Otto

We only meant to get out of town for a day, but this tucked-away bungalow hotel in Ft. Worth turned into a place we want to visit again for longer. Mitzi greeted us with a smile and took time to show us around and explain what was there. We had a drink at the bar and dessert in the cute diner. Our waitress surprised us by saying the first drink was on them. Then we found the croquet and martini bar and the speakeasy, where Eric made some original, delicious drinks. If you go into the speak easy, push the bookcase open. We’ll definitely be back for more than one day.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I loved the deck up top. The staff were all kind and helpful, and the food and drinks were delicious. We had a lot of fun, especially at the great pool. There are walking and biking trails nearby, and an Uber to the stockyard is really cheap. My wife and I had a great trip and will be back.

I come to Ft Worth for work pretty often and love staying here. Check-in and checkout are easy, and I haven’t had any problems on any of my visits. My room is always ready with a bucket of ice and the AC already on. The beds are the most comfortable I’ve found while traveling, and I sleep so well here.

The bed here is the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on, and the rooms are cozy and clean. The staff are friendly and kind, and the location is great for nearby restaurants and trails. This was my second staycation here, and I couldn’t have asked for a better visit. I don’t know how they’ve captured an Italy vibe in the middle of Fort Worth, but they have. I’d recommend staying here and am already looking forward to my next trip.
