I had a good experience with the original staff and managers while staying here for a couple of months during work on my house. I’d gotten friendly with Mr. Long, the manager, and housekeeping. They’re great. Then JoJo was hired, and he became the reason I moved hotels. He acted like he owned the place, yelled at employees, including housekeepers who’d been there longer than him, and was rude and unhelpful to customers. I heard him tell prospective customers, “If you don’t like it, then leave!” I also saw him shouting at a woman who paid for her room, saying he was the only one who could do his job right and everyone else was incapable. Later, he called his manager and lied about why she was upset. He was lazy too. Several times I went to the desk and found him asleep, watching movies, or gone for hours. The hotel can do better than keeping him in management, and I think the business will suffer if he stays. A previous reviewer said they hadn’t gotten a call or email back. We have a lot to say and feel nobody is listening. Please contact me and follow up on your end.

Mr long and the rest of the front desk crew are awesome, but Jojo is the worst part of Studio 6. He’s rude, doesn’t help, and keeps saying the people who work with him don’t know how to do their jobs. He isn’t professional or suited to be a manager, and I think he should be fired. Someone please call me about this. Nobody has reached out.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I believe the way I was treated was racially motivated, and the whole experience felt dishonest and unprofessional. The manager cursed me out, while housekeepers stood laughing as things escalated instead of behaving professionally. Staff were rude and disrespectful from the beginning. Then they accused me of smoking in the room, which I have never done, and refused to refund my money.

I only left because I needed to be closer to work. For three weeks, after a bad stay at another Dallas motel, I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience here. It’s a nice facility for the price, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and kind. The room and common areas were clean, and housekeeping did a thorough job. No bugs, except for a cricket that followed me in. Studio 6 of Burleson deserves my five stars. Thanks to all the staff, and I hope they keep it up.
