The train went by often, loud enough to briefly drown out the people coming and going at all hours. I also had to walk through other guests' sites to reach a trash area, if there even was one. I ended up taking my garbage with me. Getting set up was a pain. The ground was badly uneven and littered with cigarette butts, old gloves, and other trash, so leveling my rig took an hour. The water hookup was less than five inches off the ground, making it nearly impossible to attach a pressure regulator, much less a filter. The actual resort looked nothing like the pictures, though I tried not to dwell on that. I paid $63.86 for a Monday night in October 2025. I didn't die, but I didn't enjoy the stay either. I wish I'd spent another $15 somewhere else, even if it meant more setup time and less sleep.

We stayed one night using our Passport American membership. The park was clean and roomy, with lots of amenities, and the staff were really friendly, welcoming, and accommodating.

It was peaceful at night, and I liked waking up to birds in the trees. The TV channel options were terrible, though, and I don't think I'll return. It seems better suited to a different kind of guest. The staff were neither welcoming nor rude, just okay. I understand the need for security, but the whole family seemed to stay shut inside the office, almost as if they were scared. The booking site said laundry cost extra, but the owner seemed confused when I asked about it. I wouldn't recommend using the dryer. For 25 cents you get five minutes, with only two minutes of drying and three minutes of "cooling." I don't know whether it was set up that way or just programmed like that.

The train tracks never bothered me, and I stayed here for almost a year. I was working on the road and had to leave when I was transferred elsewhere. I've stayed at about 65 campsites since then, and this one is still my number one. The neighbors were very good, there were no drugs, and nobody partied outside at midnight. The water wasn't bad either. The mother, father, and son were all very good. She was on call 24 hours a day, and if I called, even at 3:00 in the morning, she'd come out to sort out problems with neighbors, whether they were arguing or yelling at me. It's off busy 95, but it's a good place for an overnight stay. I've been away for almost two years and miss the place and its prices a lot. If I were back in that city, I'd stop by and say hello. Maybe one day I'll come through town and stay overnight again.

I called to ask the weekly rate, but the woman on the phone was rude, like I was bothering her. She kept saying, "I...as of today DO NOT HAVE ANYROOMS AVAILABLE!" and wouldn't let me explain what date I meant, whether it was a month away or something else. Lady, there are plenty of other motels happy to get my business. You were very tactless and nasty, with no customer service. Don't worry, I won't call back.
