Framingham Inn

The price was excellent and everything seemed good. I didn’t see anything wrong, though I’d like the towels to be cleaned more.

The room was modest, but so clean. The bed was simple and comfortable, and the building was very quiet. The common areas and hallways could use a facelift, though the local owners’ efforts to improve the place were clear. They had a small breakfast selection, muffins and things like that, and everyone was kind and welcoming. It fit our needs perfectly for a short stay. I’m glad I didn’t judge the book by its cover. I’d been nervous booking after reading the reviews, but my experience was much better. We arrived early after driving through the night, before check-in time. I called to ask about checking in early; the staff member wasn’t sure, but said he’d check whether the room had been cleaned and call back. He called promptly, and they were able to let us in early. At check-in they also recommended some good local restaurants.

They charged us $128 for one night, and the office said Expedia would give us a $10 refund. We called Expedia, and after they spoke with the desk, that’s exactly what they offered. It seems they’ve done this before. Everyone staying there looked homeless, and I assure you the good reviews are fake. This place needs to be closed. The room and property were filthy, and so were the employees. They put us above a bar that shook the whole room until 1 a.m. They said they couldn’t move us because they didn’t have the same room. There was food in the fridge, and the room was disgusting, with hair on the toilet and in the sink.

I booked the Framingham Inn at the last minute, and they got me into a room quickly. The price was the best around, I enjoyed my stay, and the staff were friendly. Check-in and checkout were easy. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in Framingham.
