Candlewood Suites Nashville - Franklin by IHG

I was here for two nights. The hotel itself is nice, with a lobby lounge, games, and pool tables, and the staff were very friendly. The rooms match the pictures in layout and work well for a few nights or for work, especially with the desk space. My main issue was cleanliness. The bed and bedding looked good, but I bring disinfecting wipes and do a basic wipe-down, and some areas clearly aren’t cleaned regularly. The walls and shower floor were the worst; a magic eraser would help. It was a decent stay and good value, but the place needs a deeper clean.

Jackie at the front desk made this a 10/10 stay for me. After we checked in, my daughter noticed what looked like makeup on her sheets and pillows, as if they hadn’t been changed. I see that as a housekeeping issue rather than a problem with the whole hotel. I called the desk, and Jackie immediately offered to move us. She let me look at a couple of rooms to make sure we’d be comfortable and satisfied. She took the time even though her shift was ending, and my family and I were really grateful. She provided exceptional service, and the rest of the staff were great too. I’d absolutely return to Candlewood.

We had a fantastic three-night stay at Candlewood Suites Nashville - Franklin, largely thanks to the staff. Before we arrived, I called to ask about early availability, and Ina was incredibly helpful. Her vibrant personality came through on the phone, and she greeted us with the same warm energy when we got there. She set a great tone for the trip. Our spacious room was perfectly clean, and having a full kitchen meant we could make breakfast ourselves every morning. I also liked the fresh ground bean coffee machine in the lobby. A housekeeper whose name started with N, though I didn’t catch the pronunciation, was on our floor each day. She always smiled, greeted us warmly, and checked if we needed anything. Between the clean facilities and the service from Ina and the housekeeping team, I’d highly recommend this hotel.

I booked a quick birthday visit with friends and was impressed by how much better this was than expected for the price. The room felt truly new and modern, with a great bed that let me sleep well, and a bright bathroom with plenty of supplies. The kitchenette was useful, with a large fridge, stove, and dishwasher. There’s no breakfast, but plenty of food nearby, and the lower cost made that worthwhile. Wi-Fi was fine for streaming, though I switched to my hotspot for video calls. The entrance is the main drawback: the driveway is small, it’s the only way in, and it’s hard to see. My friend missed it twice when coming to pick me up. Better signs or another entrance would help. Still, I highly recommend it for the price and will stay again.
