Hilton Garden Inn Dayton South-Austin Landing

I was at the hotel for a three-day work event. The food was good, and the bartenders were friendly. On our last night, one of the female bartenders was amazing and really made the evening. The room was clean and tidy despite the remodeling, and the price seemed reasonable. My only issue was the window on my second-floor room. I didn’t realize it looked right onto a maintenance roof, and a few workers walked past while I was changing. They weren’t looking in, but it startled me badly. I avoid the first floor because I don’t want people walking by my window, and this caught me by surprise. Apart from that, it was a great stay.

Our room was spacious and clean, though a little dated, and we found parking without trouble even though the lot was pretty full. We didn’t need to interact with anyone for service. The hotel is in Austin Landing, set back from most of the commotion. Nice place for a getaway, and I’d recommend it if you need a hotel in the area.

The rooms were quiet, so we didn’t hear outside noise, and they were clean and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, and there’s plenty of free parking. Coffee was available in the room and lobby, and it was good. Kroger and restaurants are within walking distance. I don’t have a single complaint and will definitely stay here again on trips to Dayton.

Even with remodeling underway, the whole facility was very clean. We checked in at 1 a.m., and Derrick was still smiling, friendly, and helpful with information. Honestly, the best service I’ve had at a hotel.
