Springhill Suites By Marriott Frederica

The rooms were very clean, and the hotel looks like it was built recently. Most of all, Brenda and her night shift colleague helped turn a difficult trip around for my wife and me. Brenda gave us such a warm welcome when we arrived, and both of them went above and beyond to help. They were the highlight of an otherwise hard trip.

The frosted sliding glass bathroom doors looked lovely and suited the room, though they let in a lot of light at night when someone used the bathroom with the light on. That was my only downside. Everything else made a strong first impression, starting with Jessica's friendly welcome at check-in. The lobby was modern and very clean, and our spacious room had a layout that felt more like a suite than a standard room. There was a large closet, and the shower had its own separate space from the toilet. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked really well, and the couch had a trundle that could be pulled out for extra people. Jessica was helpful throughout our stay. She gave me paper for a surprise I needed to put together, then called our room as soon as our dinner order arrived and offered plates and utensils since we didn't have any. With our 8 year old triplets along, that was a huge help. The kids liked the clean indoor pool, and breakfast the next morning was delicious with plenty of choices even for picky eaters. Jessica was there too, still smiling and friendly. We'll stay here again when we visit.

We stayed one night for a soccer tournament across the street. The free breakfast had waffles, eggs, sausages, and other bits and pieces. The place was roomy, clean, and fairly new, and I really can't complain much. The shower could use more pressure, though. The front door might be the smallest one I've ever seen. Still, this is probably one of the nicest hotels I've been to in a while, and I'd come back.

We were there last weekend with our baseball team. The rooms were really nice and clean, breakfast was really good, and the service was top notch. We had an amazing stay and are looking forward to coming back.
