I paid $165 for a tiny, dirty, nasty room that smelled strongly of sweat. The bed cover was dirty too. The bathroom was shared with other people, even though I expected a private one, and there was no privacy or parking. The booking was nonrefundable. It was around 1 o’clock in the morning after I’d traveled a long way for work, and this was the closest place to my job. I was so disappointed. If you’re checking reviews before paying, keep your money and sleep in your car.

We were disappointed right away. The halls smelled strongly of weed, and it got worse as we went upstairs. The room wasn’t what we’d paid for: we booked two beds and got one. It also smelled heavily of cigarettes, and the mirror behind the bed was filthy. The area felt unsafe, and the desk guy seemed to have a bad attitude.

The place was filthy and disgusting. We’d paid for a double room but were first given a single. They moved us to a double, except it had no bathroom in the room. When we asked to switch again, they wanted another $50, even though the online price difference was only $10. Then they said we’d dirtied the room just by bringing in our bags and charged us for another night. Huge scam. Don’t stay here!

Bright room with a smart TV and free Wi-Fi, plus an ocean breeze. Eateries, a laundromat, smoke shop, massage spa, and public transit are nearby, pretty much around every corner.

There was no parking, and the bathroom was shared. The door lock was busted, cigarette burns marked the comforter, someone else’s beard shavings were left in the sink, and white chalk squares covered the floor. The place was run down, and the advertised picture looked about 50 years old. Run from this place!
