We paid the full amount after asking the male owner how much it would cost to stay through Monday. Then they kicked us out a day before checkout. Their customer service was absolutely terrible, and the room was filthy. One small towel had poop left in the bathtub. As a nurse, I could tell from the smell and color at a distance that it was feces. The other towels were dirty too, with different, unusual stains. They're pathological liars. They could show the camera footage to prove what was clearly discussed when we checked in. Now I understand why they didn't want to give us a check-in and check-out email or printed paper. It was for their convenience.

There were roaches and bed bugs, and people were rude. They try to charge unnecessary fees, talking around the issue while pretending to be upfront. Why own a hotel if you're going to treat people like that?

The beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great. But there was no coffee pot, phone, iron, or ironing board. I don't understand how this hotel got five stars, unless it was because of the location. If you don't look at the photos right on site, you'll miss that.

The guy there started yelling at me the moment I stepped inside, saying, "There are no homeless allowed here, get out!" I don't think I look homeless. Just rude, with no manners at all. Owned by a...

The room had the essentials, including soap and shampoo, and plenty of space for a couple willing to get a room on their own. It was about a five minute drive to the mall and a fifteen minute drive along the streets to any beach on the coast.
