The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, and there’s even a West Elm sofa. It’s very kid friendly, with a small pool, outdoor seating, and low seats in the breakfast area. Getting around is easy, with major highways, shops, places to eat, and business parks nearby. Service was very good. Breakfast was nice and hot, with strong coffee, make-your-own mini waffles, and hot oatmeal with lots of add-ins. They even had several hot sauces, including gochujang!

Christian and Jonathan handled our big group so professionally, and the staff went above and beyond for us all weekend. I was organizing my 60th high school reunion at Ceresville Mansion and needed a host hotel, a Friday night mixer, and around 50 rooms for people coming from out of town. The mixer on the rooftop was outstanding. They brought in an extra bartender, and us “Old Folks” had a great time. The rooms were excellent too. I’d certainly recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooftop bar is worth checking out. They had heaters placed around for anyone who gets cold easily, and the view was really relaxing. The gym worked well for me, though it’s a bit small, with treadmills, bikes, dumbbells, and kettlebells. We were there for a wedding weekend, and when we arrived our friends were gathered around the blazing firepit out front. We lucked out with a mild evening. The large lobby was also a good place for everyone to gather and hang out, and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was included, though nothing is free! It was what you’d expect at a lower-end Marriott, with a good selection that was fresh and tasty. All around, a great experience.

The first room had a strong chemical smell that dried out my throat, nose, and eyes. I went back to the desk and was moved to a second room. At check-in, the staff member noticed my hat, which read “make American native again,” and openly said she disliked Republicans. I didn’t say much because I’m anti-political, but it left me thinking about friends across all kinds of political views. None of them would appreciate that kind of talk while asking for service in a public place. As an Indigenous man, I felt uncomfortable staying there that night in such a politically aggressive atmosphere. I won’t return to this location or potentially affiliated businesses because of the staff’s direct hate speech.
