Anchorage Haus

The location was good and it was quiet, and maybe for the room price it could be five stars. But the beds were very uncomfortable. The TV had Direct TV, but it wasn’t a smart TV, so there was no way to stream something we wanted to watch. I also wish the lights on the front porch dimmed a little at night.

The staff were really friendly, and breakfast had a decent range of options. There’s covered parking, too. The property is older, but clean and well cared for, and it’s just a short walk from Main Street. It cost less than nearby competitors. I liked its old family history, and unless a fancy modern room is important to you, I’d recommend staying here over one of the big chain hotels.

The rooms are huge, with a comfortable bed and a large shower, and the staff are cheerful and friendly. It’s an older property, but as clean and neat as grandma’s house. This small, family-run hotel was so inexpensive, it felt like stealing. Why pay twice as much for a brand name when this cozy place welcomes you so warmly?

I’ve been staying at the Peach Tree Inn for years, and I still love it. It has that old-time charm and everything you need. The showers have excellent hot water, and the air conditioning is very good. This place won’t disappoint.
