Everything felt luxurious, and the amenities were top-notch. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, whether from the restaurant or room service. You could tell from all the details that the hotel cares about giving guests a high-quality experience.

We spent our honeymoon at the Emigrant Hotel in March and loved it. The speakeasy is a great time, especially when there are live bands, and the drinks are spot on. The lobby is also a fun place to have cocktails and mingle. The atmosphere is beautiful, the staff are welcoming and friendly, and we’d definitely stay again.

The hotel is gorgeous, and we had a 10/10 experience. Nick, Ethan, Jose, Jonathan, and Veronica were amazing last night. They went above and beyond with their hospitality to me and my friends, and were friendly and accommodating to my requests beyond what I expected. Huge thanks to all of them. We’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend this place.

It feels awful to be treated like you’re invisible, and it’s not easy to shake. My wife and I were in Fredericksburg on Monday evening, 11/17/25, looking for somewhere to eat. We entered this establishment to ask whether non-guests could dine there, though by then we suspected it might be a hotel. The lobby was beautiful, a bartender was serving about four people at the bar, and there seemed to be a dining room across the way. A young woman at a desk was on the phone. We stood nearby so she’d notice we wanted to speak, without getting directly in front of her. For a while she said nothing to the person on the call and kept looking at her computer. It got uncomfortable. I glanced at the bartender, hoping she’d acknowledge us, but she just kept looking and working too. After more than 20 years in customer service, I know this isn’t how to treat a potential customer. At least look over and signal you’ll be with them, nod, or say a quick hello. If we return to Fredericksburg, we won’t give the Emigrant any business. Some may say this is judging too quickly, but being ignored like that left a terrible impression.

The rooms, lobby, and bar were beautiful and truly remarkable. Although it’s a boutique hotel, it had excellent food and outstanding room service. The rooms were well appointed, and the staff were fantastic, true professionals. My wife and I had a five-star stay, and I highly recommend it.
