Emigrant's Inn

The room was quaint and cute, which made the poor service even more frustrating. My girlfriend and I were there for her birthday weekend, and local friends had told us good things about the staff. Less than 30 minutes after we arrived, we saw a man who looked like a manager, wearing a suit and glasses, in an office right beside our room. We tried asking him a couple of quick questions about the property, but he brushed us off as if we were bothering him and shut the door in our faces. It gave us a bad first impression and made us feel unwelcome immediately. For a place known for hospitality, that was shocking and unacceptable. We won’t be coming back.

The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the beds were comfortable. The rooms are spacious, with really nice bathrooms featuring large jet tubs and open showers. It’s a fantastic find close to Main Street in Fredericksburg. We highly recommend it and will stay here again on future trips.

That basement Speakeasy was the highlight for us. The jazz band, artwork, and whole atmosphere felt just right, and the drinks were made perfectly. Staff were warm and personable too. We didn't stay at the hotel, but we came back two nights running. Definitely worth stopping in.

Before our wine tour, we stopped in for coffee and breakfast. The food, service, and atmosphere were all amazing. Add it to your Fredericksburg plans.
