The breakfast is a big plus, with pancakes made to order, warm cinnamon buns, and hot food that often includes omelets and sausage or bacon. The staff are friendly and well trained, and I love grabbing fresh coffee from the lobby machine any time of day. They often put out free popcorn too. I've stayed here many times over the last ten years, for personal trips as well as work bookings and family gatherings with lots of rooms. We used to pick the Hampton Inn because of our loyalty to the national brand, but after several terrible stays there, I now ignore my points and come here when I'm in Meadville. The place is clean and well cared for. The pool and hot tub are great and not overchlorinated, and the pool area has large, clean bathrooms. There's also a patio with a big grill for summer, a spacious gym, and that always available coffee machine. It's easy to get around from here. You can walk to several restaurants, and downtown, Allegheny College, Conneaut Lake, and other area attractions are nearby. We come back several times a year, and the price is a great value. Even if you don't usually choose Holiday Inn Express or IHG, this is the hotel I'd recommend in Meadville.
