Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Freeport, IL

The beds, pillows, and sheets were super comfortable, and after swimming I liked the shampoo and conditioner because my hair felt clean and soft. Everything was clean and well maintained, and breakfast had good protein choices and fresh fruit, even blueberries. We were there with our basketball team for a tournament, alongside other teams, guests, parties, and groups. The staff made us feel like we were visiting family. I called the desk with a small request and said there was no hurry, but Helen was at our door in under a minute, smiling. We deactivated our keys more than once, and she reassured us it was no big deal and got them working again. Guest services went above and beyond with professionalism and warmth. The breakfast attendant was friendly and efficient, asked guests questions, and made pleasant conversation. The staff seemed to really enjoy helping people, which was a big part of why we had such a wonderful stay.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at a hotel. There was just about anything you’d want to choose from, and getting a decent cup of coffee was easy. The mattresses were the best I’ve come across in all my hotel stays.

The room was clean and nice, and I had a great stay for my birthday and to see a friend’s band. I also left behind a cup that means a lot to me. My sister gave it to me when I started chemotherapy. I only found out about her a few years ago because she was adopted, and she’s only been in my life for those few years. It might be just a cup to someone else, but it’s very special to me. The hotel staff kept it safe until I could come back for it. I live two hours away, and my chemotherapy is two hours in the other direction, so I’m grateful for how kind and accommodating everyone I spoke with was. I’d definitely stay again. Thank you to all the staff! ❤️

I’ve stayed here several times while in town for business, and for this price range it’s the best hotel I’ve experienced. The place is clean, the service is great, and the value has been unmatched for me. I appreciate the staff and how hard they work. I recommend the hotel whenever it makes sense. Thanks to everyone there!
