Courtyard Fremont Silicon Valley

The rooms are nice, but I had to take off another star for the parking charge. Highway noise can also be rough if you’re a light sleeper. You hear loud vehicles all night, and it gets especially bad around 4 a.m.

There’s no locker, and the washroom doesn’t have proper shelves or hooks. The water was slow too. Hard to relax here. They need to put money into comfort, not just real estate.

The room was standard and I had no complaints about it. This Courtyard is tucked away in the Fremont area and is pretty quiet. I liked the courtyard, though they make you walk across it to get to the laundry room. It’s quite a long walk, but at least it’s enjoyable 😄

The hotel is run down, and the cleanliness and service left me very disappointed. They clean only every other day, and my room was barely cleaned before I checked in. There were hairs in the shower (see photo), plus someone’s hair tie with long hair beside the bed. Gross. Breakfast was a disaster: they got orders wrong, charged for things you didn’t have, or brought someone else’s food. It was very disorganized. Parking cost $10 a night, though nobody mentioned a fee and there was nothing about it on the website. The first night I forgot the parking notice on my dashboard and found a warning that my car would be towed at my expense the next day without a pass. I brought up the parking fee at checkout. There’s not much around since it’s an industrial area, but plenty of other places to stay. I’ll go somewhere else next time. This isn’t up to Marriott standards.
