For the price, there wasn't much to complain about, so I gave it four stars, though this is NOT a four star hotel. No bugs, good WiFi, and more channels than at a lot of Holiday Inns I've stayed at. I wish they didn't use so much bleach to clean the rooms, though maybe it's needed. If sketchy neighbors bother you, this may not be the place for you. But if you mind your own business and don't need pampering, it's a great budget option. The bathroom had no curtains, which was odd, but I was on the second floor so I didn't make a fuss.

The service was alright and friendly, and the rest of the place looked clean enough. But the carpet and/or sheets smelled like stinky feet, the sort of smell that could make you vomit. If the sheets or bed, such a key part of a comfortable stay, weren't cleaned properly and smelled like nasty sweaty trucker or construction worker feet, it made me wonder about the rest of the place. They should put more focus on getting the cleaning staff to do their jobs professionally and less focus on my booty at checkout.

We asked whether the room had a hot tub or jacuzzi, and they said yes. We were charged $120 for a king bed, but there was no tub or hot tub, just showers. That's shady, and I wouldn't stay here.

Food and a laundromat are both within walking distance. I stayed at the Garden View Inn for two weeks, and the family who owns it provided excellent service. My room was clean, the beds were comfy, and the shower was nice. The rooms are well cared for, and I'll stay again.

The room was nice, and I'll come back. I made some mistakes that caused problems, but the staff patiently helped me sort them out. Their service was perfect.
