Rodeway Inn Fresno

We left for a better hotel and ended up paying twice as much. I couldn't have slept peacefully here with my kids, even for one night. Before we even settled in, we were told to lock both the car and room doors to avoid problems. Nearby, a parked car had bullets in its window, and a lot of people who looked homeless, some semi-nude, were walking around and looking at us. For some reason they were living at the "hotel." The toilet didn't work. We were told someone would come fix it, waited about an hour, and nobody showed up. I'd paid for three nights in advance and couldn't get a refund, even though we didn't stay a single night.

The only decent thing was the hot water in the shower. The room was stained and dirty, with loud music and shouting all night, and someone knocked on our door twice at 3am. We were there for just 4 hours, hoping to rest and nap, but the constant noise made that impossible.

The area felt uncomfortable, with homeless people and strangers around. Inside, the towels and bedsheets were truly dirty, not just stained after washing. They looked like they'd been used to clean the floor, which was dirty too. Nothing bothered me more than filthy towels and linens. Please don't stay here.

We were disgusted and left after only about 45-60 minutes. The manager refused to refund us. The first room was supposed to be nonsmoking for my wife and me, but smelled like an ashtray, with cigarette burns on the tub and stained linen. They moved us, and the next room was even worse: blood on the light switch, floss stuck to the wall, and stained sheets and comforter. The area is bad. Look it up yourself online, there are lots of working women and possible drugs and crime around this Hotel. I have pictures, and I've seen multiple similar reports online about it.
