Hyatt Place Fresno

The staff were kind and accommodating, including when we needed a late checkout. The rooms are small, though, and the AC didn't work very well. The halls smelled like trash, and it seemed the trash hadn't been emptied all weekend. It's dog-friendly, but there's only a small patch of grass for dogs to use. The hotel is in a busy part of town and parking is limited.

We stayed two nights and asked the room attendant in person to freshen the room. With kids, we needed the hair vacuumed up even though we hadn't made a mess. She either forgot or ignored the request. Everything else was okay, including the breakfast buffet, but housekeeping could do better.

Robert Quinn does an outstanding job as the security guard, keeping the hotel and guests safe with dedication and respect. It's not easy work, and I made sure he knew how much I appreciated him. Shandra, the night auditor, was also so kind and welcoming. Her professionalism and warm personality make each visit feel special. Thank you both for going above and beyond, your efforts don't go unnoticed.

Shandra gave me a great first impression at the front desk. She was patient and friendly, and made everything feel simple and stress-free. Her welcoming manner set the tone for a pleasant stay. It's clear she takes pride in her work and cares about guests. Excellent service.
