La Quinta Inn & Suites Fresno - Yosemite

For a couple nights of sleep, this place was perfectly fine for me. The room was simple and clean, and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was just okay. It’s an older building and nothing fancy, but I thought they’d done a pretty good job keeping things up to date. I’m not sure why the reviews are so negative. I’d come back.

The room had a nice layout and style, and it smelled clean when I first walked in. I did move to another room because the WiFi was giving me trouble in the first one, but it worked well in the lobby and the new room. I noticed little touches like two mint candies left as a welcome and toilet paper folded into an untouched triangle. The customer service was friendly and generous.

I got a quieter room away from the pool, parking was free, and the staff were nice and helpful when a problem came up. For the price, it wasn’t too bad as basic lodging. I booked again after staying here last year because the photos made me think the motel had been renovated. It hadn’t, and it may even be a little worse than last year. The pictures from La Quinta Inn don’t match the property. The shower heads give almost no pressure, and the place could use a thorough cleaning inside and out.

Everything in the clean room worked as it should. The neighbors were a bit loud while talking to staff in the morning, but it didn’t go on long. Otherwise, it was a successful stay. I’d come back!
