TownePlace Suites by Marriott Front Royal

The gym was spacious and quite nice, and the staff were very friendly. The hotel was modern and very clean. Breakfast was good, though not outstanding. I especially liked the egg-white feta cheese frittata, but it wasn’t available on day two. I don’t usually review hotels, but this was an excellent stay and I’d definitely come back.

The staff were wonderful, and management clearly knows how to find fantastic team members. My room was clean and stocked, with great breakfast and coffee. This is a great example of the standards hotels should meet. I’ll save it for next time I’m passing by.

Target is directly across the street, and there are several restaurants nearby. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and the fitness center incredible. I loved everything about the property and would definitely stay again.

Update: After I posted this review, they searched again, found the appliance, and shipped it back to me. Thanks to the kind GM for taking care of it. The front desk staff were friendly and everything was clean, but I was extremely disappointed with housekeeping. I accidentally left my very expensive, easily identifiable Dyson Airwrap in a drawer when I checked out. I realized shortly after leaving and contacted the hotel right away, but was told nothing had been found. It upset me that an item of that value wasn’t turned in. Mistakes happen, but I expect basic honesty and integrity from housekeeping at a reputable hotel. I trusted the hotel with my belongings, and that trust was broken. I hope management takes this seriously and reviews its lost-and-found procedures and staff accountability.
