The sunset was a nice bonus, and Disneyland was only a 16-minute Uber ride away, about $26. Service met all my expectations. In Room 502, the layout matched the pictures and the room was clean, though the fragrance was overpowering when I first walked in. The bed felt firm but I slept well. The faucet was loose, and it took a while for hot water to reach the shower.

We had a lovely stay, with friendly staff and great service. The one issue was that someone stole the water pipes, leaving us without water for half a day. Apparently this has happened before.

The room design was the worst I've had at a Marriott. Its motion sensors shut off the lights whenever I didn't move around, so relaxing in the room wasn't really possible. Staff were unfriendly, and I had to call for more than 10 minutes before the front desk answered.

The no-refund rule at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Anaheim Placentia/Fullerton is tucked into small print and easy to miss, with no effort to flag it before booking. That felt misleading and unfair when guests should be given clear information at reservation time. Policies like this need to be stated openly. I wouldn't recommend the hotel or book there again.

I work nearby often, and the staff are why I keep choosing this hotel. They go out of their way to make each stay enjoyable. Jaime has helped me adjust my stays at the last minute more than once, and Mallory, Erica and Daniel are always pleasant and make me feel welcome when I arrive.
