The furnishings were especially nice, and the room really felt like home. There were views all around, a handy coffee bar and refrigerator, and a great location for getting around on foot. I can't comment on noise because our level and the rooftop were both closed, but we didn't hear anyone below us.

We left a day early because the noise was just too much, and traffic on Main Street was the last straw. There is a restaurant below or very close to the room, a rooftop bar overhead or nearby, and an indoor bar close to the rooms with loud patrons. The rooms are small, too. There were only three clothes hangers and no hooks or towel bar for wet towels. They told us they were short-staffed and wouldn't service the rooms. No one is on site, so if something goes wrong in the evening, you may wait until morning for a response. For what you get, it was overpriced.

The rooftop bar and food were great, and the views are worth seeing. The location right on Main Street also makes it easy to stroll around town. The room was fairly clean, though nothing special. Noise was a real problem: the Thai restaurant below was loud until closing and cleanup, and the rooftop patio and bar above stayed noisy through closing and cleanup around 10:30 PM. There was also construction next door, with plenty of noise and vibrations. Don't expect a peaceful room to relax in. The TV wouldn't stream, and management never responded when we contacted them.

The renovation looks beautiful, but the room was just shy of $400 a night, far more than I thought the facilities were worth. Around $150 would have felt fair to me. We booked because of the whiskey bar, but it never opened. Its whiskey selection sounded lackluster anyway, with smoked maple Knob Creek and Basil Hayden's as the best options. Our room was only steps from that bar, which we hadn't expected, and in the end we were glad it stayed closed. The rooftop bar had shut down before 8pm. After dinner, we walked across the street to find everything dark and closed for the night. We also never found the sauna or other amenities because the whole place was shut down and dark. During our stay, some rooftop bar patrons walked into our room while we were changing and showering, looking for a bathroom. Surprise! We should have locked the door, but there really should be clearer signs so people know the last two doors are hotel rooms. Our room was about four paces from the public bathroom, so it was an easy mix-up. There's no privacy between the room and bathroom, either, so be sure you're extremely comfortable with whoever you're staying with. We got a text with instructions for entering the room at exactly 3pm. Thank God we had cell service. I was nervous about what we'd do if we had no coverage, which often happens in town. More information about the stay would've helped a lot. At around $150, this would have been a great stay. Paying $400 a night made my review very different.

We stayed in the Memphis room, which was spotless and had great heating and cooling. The bed was really comfortable, and there were lots of charming details inside. We couldn't have been happier with the room, service, or location. I wish I could give it 6/5 stars!
