Portland Park Townhome Unit 1

Our week in the “Crawler” Jeep condo with our dog made for wonderful memories in beautiful Ouray. It’s two blocks from Main Street, and the spacious, modern two-bedroom, two-bath condo was clean and had the comforts of home. There were plenty of towels, coffee, creamer, lots of spices, bath products, and a washer and dryer. I mentioned at checkout that the dryer needed servicing. The two big TVs were great, and the furniture and Jeep decor suited the place. The mountains looked lovely, although our condo didn’t have a view of the nearby Uncompahgre River. A grassy area in front is shared by the three downstairs condos. On three occasions, tenants let their dogs off leash there, and the dogs chased ours. One family also left their dog alone barking for hours with the windows open, against the house rules. The bathrooms were a good size, though the toilets were child-sized, as another review mentioned. The visit was warm and rainy, so even with ceiling and floor fans provided, having A/C would have been a real plus, especially at night.

We’re staying in a beautiful three-bedroom cabin, and I’d definitely recommend it. There’s a huge kitchen where you can cook your own meals, with dishes and some basics like flour, sugar, and spices already stocked. The cabin also has a living room, dining room, and three big bedrooms.

The owners were kind and quick to respond when we ran into an issue on our first night. Our condo suited our family of four, with two adults and two teens, and it’s in a pleasant, quiet spot within easy walking distance of Main Street.

The condo’s nice and was a great price, but the noise through the walls and from upstairs is keeping me awake. It’s 3:08 am and I’m still up. Nice place, but I need to sleep.
