Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Fulton

The staff seemed nice, breakfast was good, and the location worked well for our trip, but I wouldn’t recommend this place. I’ve stayed at plenty of IHG hotels and this one fell short. The whole building smelled old and musty, and there were stains and signs of damage everywhere. Our room walls had chips, dents, scratches, and holes, while the bathroom looked only partly updated. The pool was dark and had peeling paint, so the kids didn’t want to swim. We usually exercise as a family in the morning, but the gym smelled awful.

TJ at the front desk was so sweet and helpful, and everyone was accommodating when I needed some help. I never wanted to be the person asking for accommodations, but here we are. The room was comfortable and breakfast was great. I’d recommend staying here in Fulton instead of Tupelo.

I met TJ last night at the Holiday Inn Express in Fulton, Mississippi, and she was outstanding. I had an issue unrelated to the hotel, and she went out of her way to help me with it. While I was at reception, I watched her check in several people, and the care she gave each one was remarkable. She’s a real credit to the hotel, and that kind of service deserves recognition.

The breakfast covered what we needed, and the service was great. Our room was clean and comfortable too. I only wish the TVs were bigger and newer, since the ones there feel small and a bit dated.
