Econo Lodge

The room key card wouldn't open my door, so for three days I had to get staff to open it manually. I kept telling them I needed to move, but the woman got an attitude and said it was my fault I hadn't been moved, acting like she was the one who was angry. One night I couldn't get into my room with my things because the manual key was with the owner, and they said they couldn't wake him. I had to sleep in another room without my hygiene items or pajamas. They're never in the office when I go to check in or pay my rent, and it takes 10 minutes to get someone there. The office is all junked up too. They have maybe six people staying there, if that, so you'd think they'd appreciate your business. Don't waste your money to be treated like a problem or a burden. It was quiet because the place wasn't busy, and the room was clean, without bugs or rodents. The beds were okay. Water pressure wasn't great, but enough to rinse off. Service wasn't especially friendly, though not rude either. Several booking sites advertise breakfast, but there was none here, just truckers' coffee. I don't think they use the pool anymore. The fridge didn't work, but I didn't need it. It was fine for sleeping, bathing, and getting back on the road.

The front desk was nice, though a little nosy. The sheets and bathroom were clean, and the fridge worked. But the blanket had burn holes, there was no smoke alarm, and there was graffiti on the walls. Breakfast was advertised, but there wasn't any. One bed was broken and flopped over when I sat on it. The remote's back was missing and had been replaced with tape.

I spotted a couple of roaches and about three gnats flying around the sink. There were burn holes in the covers, an empty beer bottle beside the air vent, and one bedside light didn't work. The room clearly hadn't been properly cleaned. You basically get what you pay for here.
