Days Inn by Wyndham Gainesville

The room smelled bad, and the towels were dirty with makeup on them. Even the unopened Kleenex box looked like someone had handled it with dirty hands. The smoke detector beeped very loudly all night. Just gross, and absolutely not worth the $300+ we paid. We stayed after a concert, but next time we'll drive home instead. We definitely won't stay here again.

The desk clerk just shrugged when I told him the bed sheets were dirty and had spots of blood on them. Filthy. I've never stayed in such a disgusting bed. I'm not happy and would never come back. Yuch.

Getting to and from the freeway was really easy, which was a plus. The room was great and recently remodeled, and it was very clean. The beds were quite firm, while the pillows were small but reasonably comfortable. We were in town for a wedding and stayed two nights. The office is small and a little outdated, and it also serves as the breakfast area, so I'd give that part 3 stars. I'd stay again if I had to, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

The room was okay, but it needs an upgrade. I had to fix the TV connection to watch anything, and there was gum stuck on top of the headboard. The concrete outside room 132 needs repair too, it's a trip hazard.
